WITOL® is the compensatory tolerance system for all your technical applications inside and outside the motor industry.

WITOL® offers you the guarantee of shortened assembly times and allows compatible interfaces as well as the tension-free and distortion-free connection of two mounting components.

The WITOL® element is fastened into structural member B and the opposing structural member A is brought into position and fixed. The fastening screw is then pressed into the WITOL® system where it is taken up by the spring element. By screwing the fastening screw into the nut thread, the compensatory element is simultaneously unscrewed until it makes contact with structural member A. If the fastening screw torque exceeds the spring clamping moment, the joining gap is closed. The fastening screw is then screwed into the nut thread, until the desired locking torque is achieved. The result is a secure, quick and tension-free connection of the structural members.
