In the 21st century, environmental science and business are moving closer together. Environmental protection has long been a task for the company and a fixed component of modern management. In line with sustainable development, the orderly use of resources such as soil, air, water and raw materials is an inseparable part of our corporate and social responsibilities. In addition to politics and society, we are convinced that we as a company must play our part in assuring and developing the natural foundations for life.

For this reason, in the WITTE group of companies, working in an environmentally conscious way is a fixed component of our company policies. It is understood as a management task and is accordingly anchored in management practice. Making this objective reality requires effective and efficient environmental management. We have also introduced an environmental management system which satisfies the requirements of the EU Environmental Audit Regulation (EMAS) and the DIN EN ISO 14001 international standard. The function of this system is certified annually by independent experts.
